Welcome to Balsam Woods Campground, the best place to go
camping in the Moosehead Lake region of Maine!
We will be
closing October 13th. We do have a limited number of sites still available
for Columbus Day Weekend! Call to reserve a site ASAP! Our fall foliage is

There are several new things at Balsam
Woods this year including: Snack Bar (burgers,hot dogs, clams strip
baskets,fries,onion rings,wings,etc), new playground for the kids!,
DVD/VHS Rentals(only $1 for 2 nights), Kayak rentals for Piper/Whetstone
Pond, New arcade games/ Pool Table/ Big screen TV, Free Wi-Fi, and a Fully
Stocked Store with RV Supplies, Food/Snacks, Gifts/Souveniers,
Clothing, Toys/Games, Etc.
