The Best Campground in Maine!

Many people often ask us how the season's going - We usually respond "It been pretty busy". This year has been no different. Memorial weekend was completely full like normal, then early June was quiet, until the kids got out of school. July and August are always our busiest months- the weekends will get completely filled, while there are some open spaces during the week. We always suggest getting reservations for July and August, especially during the weekends.

 

We've been doing upgrades to the campground ever since we've purchased it in 2008. Between major electrical upgrades, bathroom upgrades, new sites, new vinyl siding/ metal roof on the store, new picnic tables & trash cans, new activities, new website, new washers, etc, we've been busy every year making the campground even better than before! We constantly have customers commenting on all these improvements. We feel it's important for us as campground owners to constantly invest money into the campground, so we can provide the best experience for you, the camper, and so our campground stays in great shape!

Most of our customers come to our campground for a number of different reasons - 1. For the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, 2. For our clean, well maintained facilities, 3. The endless amount of Atv Trails from the campground, 4. The amazing hiking, boating, fishing,etc, 5. Moosehead Lake & all the amazing scenery around us, 6. To see Moose & other Wildlife, 7. Our reasonable rates! 8. The amazing Fall Foliage, 9. Just to have a great time with friends and family! 10. All of the above!

 

This coming fall, we will be doing some major upgrades. We'll be adding a whole new septic system that will handle 30-40 sites. This will give most, if not all of the F, D, and C sites sewer hookups. We all know how convenient it is to have sewer hookup when your staying for more than just a couple days! We may be doing some other upgrades, but it will depend on how good our season is, how much money the whole septic system costs, and how much time we have! We'll keep everyone posted once we know for sure. There's definitely some other things we have in mind!
